Day : 1

Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram 
After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram is the ancient capital of the Pallavas famous as a city of 1000 Temples and still has 124 shrines. The first temple dedicated to Shiva was built in the 7th and 8th century & has paintings on the walls. Temples of Ekambareswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and VaradaRaja swamy are of interest. Kanchipuram is also famous for its silks. The city of Mahabalipuram is famous for the 7th Century Temples. Afternoon drive to tour of the ancient stone cut monuments of Mamallapuram which is the town of temples, sand and sea - Mamallapuram, formerly known as Mahabalipuram is world renowned for its beautiful Shore Temple. It was once the main port and naval base of the great Pallava kingdom and was later made the capital of this Dynasty. The Rock cravings at Mahabalipuram are notable for the delightful freshness and simplicity of their folk art origins. The sculptures here are particularly interesting because it shows scenes of the day to day life. It is one of the world famous monuments sites of the country Places to see @ Arjunas Penance - This skillfully carved rock is the largest bas - relief sculpture in the world Five Rathas: There are five monolithic temples, each created in different style. They are also known as Pancha Pandava Rathas, and four of the Rathas are supposed to have scooped out of a single rock formation, Krishna Butter Ball, Krishna Mandam. The Shore Temple at beach: It belongs to the 8th Century AD and it is good examples of the first phase of structural temples constructed in Dravidian then later laze on the beach or by the pool. Mamallapuram - Chennai - Trichy (By Flight) 
Morning, transfer to Chennai airport to take the morning flight to Trichy. On arrival, transfer to hotel. By afternoon city tour of Trichy was the citadel of the Chola dynasty in the medieval period. In the 18th century it witnessed the Carnatic wars fought between the French and the English. The Rock-Fort is the landmark of Trichy. A climb of 434 steps leads to the ancient temple of Ganapati on top. From here you will get a good view of SriRangam Temple and the Cauvery River. Over night stay at Trichy.

Trichy – Madurai (250 Kms / 03 Hrs) 
Drive to Madurai visiting Tanjore enroute. Temple, a built in at the beginning of the 12th century by the greatest Chola emperor Raja Raja Chola King. With its lush green stretches of cultivated the beautiful Chola Temple of Brihadeshwara is capped by a monolithic cupola made of a single granite block weighing 80 tons which was taken to the top with the help of a 6 km long ramp, an old technique used by the Egyptians for building pyramids. Its bronzes and handicrafts make Tanjore one of the highlights of a visit to South India. Over night stay at Madurai.

Madurai 
After breakfast drive to Madurai -This temple built in Dravidian style Architecture with colorful has rich cultural heritage and history. Madurai is a Tamil Nadu most happening cultural area. Madurai was an important cultural and commercial center even as early as 550 AD In the afternoon we will visit the opulent Nayak Palace and Thirupparan Kundram Temple with rock carvings, monkeys and peacocks. Later soak up the energy of the magnificent Meenakshi temple where we will witness the special daily closing ceremony. There is also an extensive museum dedicated to the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi. Over night stay at Madurai 
Day : 7
Madurai – Thekkady (150 Kms /4 Hrs) 
Morning drive to through panoramic Western Ghats hills covered with spice plantations and occasional view of water falls and streams its earliest sanctuary to be set up in 1934, it extends to 777 square kms & forms part of the high mountain ranges, the Western Ghats. Wild life can be seen while cruising on Periyar Lake in a motor boat. Amongst the animals which can be seen are elephants, wild boar, sambar, tiger, leopard, wild dog, languor monkeys, etc. Over night stay at Thekkady

Thekkady – Kumarakom (145 Kms / 04 Hrs) 
After breakfast, check out of the hotel at 0900 Hrs and we drive down to Kumarakom (145 Kms / 4 Hrs). You will be passing through beautiful rubber and tea plantations. On arrival at Kumarakom visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (famous for migratory and local birds) and later check in at hotel, Kumarakom is famous for endless view of calm clean backwater of Kerala with canals, paddy fields and fishing villages. Evening go for Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanadu lake. Over night stay at kumarakom

Kumarakom – Houseboat 
Morning board the House Boat (The accommodation in house boat is provided to the guests who are interest to see & experience the lifestyle of the villagers who stays on the bank of backwater. The accommodation in house is double bedded room with bathroom attached to give more comfort to the guest stay in. The boat is attended by a personal cook with two boatmen. Alleppey – Cochin (65 Kms / 1.5 Hrs) 
After breakfast, disembark your Houseboat at Alleppey and drive 65kms/1.5hrs to Cochin. On arrival, check into your hotel. By afternoon tour of Cochin. Cochin is the natural harbor created by the famed underwater Malabar mud-banks whose quality ensures that the rougher the seas are outside the calmer the waters are within the Harbor. Vasco-de-Gamma placed it on the world map. It has a Jewish synagogue, Portuguese churches, mosques & Hindu temples. Watch the Chinese Fishing Nets and evening watch a performance of Kathakali Dancing. Over night stay at Cochin.

Cochin – Bangalore (By Flight) 
Morning, you will be transfer to Cochin airport to take the morning flight to Bangalore. On arrival where you will be met by pals tours representative who give you a warm welcome and transfer to air-conditioned Deluxe Car and straight drive to Mysore (150 kms / 2.5 hrs )covering Srirangapatnam, Tipus Summer Palace and Sriranganathaswamy Vishnu Temple and came in to the limelight during the period of Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan during 18th century. Later visit Tipus former summer palace known as "Daria Daulat Bagh", Over night stay at Mysore. 
Day : 12
Mysore 
After breakfast drive to Mysore, the Sandalwood and Incense Capital of the World & some of Indias finest Crafts, such as Printed Silk, Inlaid, Furniture and Ivory Carvings are also found here. Also known as the city of Palaces, Mysore retains a quaint charm that never fails to enchant. Afternoon sight seeing trip to visit the Palace of the Maharaja (Emperor) built in 1911 - 1912. The palace is of harmonious syntheses of the Hindu and saracenic styles of architecture with archways, domes, turrets, colonnades and sculptures which are magnificent followed by visit at St. Philomenas cathedral - folklore museum - Brindavan gardens & spectacular musical fountains. Visit the Art Gallery; drive up to Chamundi hill to see Chamundeshwari Temple and a panoramic view of Mysore. On the way back, see the Nandi Bull. By afternoon, free for exploring the colourful vegetable and flower market and bazaars. Over night stay at Mysore

Mysore - Hassan [Belur and Halebid] (160 Kms / 3.30 Hrs) 
After breakfast drive to Hassan and Full day tour of Belur and Halebid. The Chennakesava temple of Belur built 900 years ago is an exquisite example of Hoysala art. Halebids 12th century Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples are master pieces of Hindu art. On the way also visit Sravanbelagola. At Sravanbelagola, hewn out of a single rock and visible from a distance of 25 kms is the statue of Lord Gomteshwara which is bathed with milk and honey once every 12 years. Hassan - Hospet [Hampi) (355 Kms / 07 Hrs) 
After breakfast check out and drive to Hospet. En route visit Shravanbelgola, At Shravanbelgola, hewn out of a single rock and visible from a distance of 25 kms is the statue of Lord Gomteshwara, which is bathed with milk, sandalwood, and saffron once every 12 years. Over night stay at Hospet

After breakfast take an excursion to Hampi the once beautiful capital city of Vijaynagar Empire was greater than Rome and had palaces; Hampi ruins spread over an area of more than 26 sq. kms protected by the tempestuous river Tungabhadra in the north and by rocky granite ridges on the other three sides, visit at Some of the interesting ruins remaining Hazara Rama Temples, huge Ganesha & Narasimha images, the elephant stables, the queens bath, and carvings on the Ramachandra Temple & Lotus Mahal. A terrain such as this was excellent for a capital city that needed to be vigilant and spend a further day in the heart of the lost empire. Explore Hampi at your own pace. Its monuments- like its centuries- old patience & wisdom- most is savored bit by bit. Later drive back to Hospet. Over night stay at Hospet 
Day : 16
Badami (03.30 Hrs) 
After breakfast drive to Badami. On arrival check in to the hotel and local sight seeing tour of Badami also known as Vatapi is rich with Hindu and Jain temples carved out of sand stone hills. The carved temples date back to the 6th century, the gigantic carvings on the walls of the four cave temples of Four armed Vishnu , Shiva, shown in many forms as Natraja, Ardhanareshwar The Fort, on top of a hill encloses large granaries, treasury & a watch tower. , Bhuthanatha and as lingam, Krishna, and Jain deties of Mahavir, Jain sdaint parsanatha and there are also some beautiful thogh faded frescos. Over night stay at Badami.

Badami – Goa (350 Kms / 07 Hrs) 
After breakfast, drive to Goa. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Rest of the day is leisure. Over night stay at Goa

Morning breakfast at hotel and followed by full day sightseeing of Goa - visiting Old Goa, the most important Cathedrals and churches - namely Se-Cathedral, Church of St. Francis Xavier, St. Catherines Church, Arch of Vice Roy of Goa. Miramar Beach - This is the only beach close to any city and has a good view of the river Mandovi flowing into the sea. Also visit Dona Paula fishing village which is a small village at the tip of Panaji, the place has a very good view point and a monument at the same place. Over night stay at Goa

Goa - Bombay (By flight) 
After breakfast, transfer to airport to board flight for Bombay. Arrive Bombay meeting/assistance at airport and transfer to hotel. After wash and change city tour of Bombay visiting Chowpatti, Gateway of India, Prince wales Museum, Dhobi Ghat (open laundry), Malabar hill, Hanging garden, Kamla Nehru park, Haji Ali Mosque, Marine drive (Queens necklees) Mahalakshmi Temple etc. Over night stay at Bombay

Bombay onwards destination 
After breakfast, transfer to airport to board return flight. Check out from hotel at 1200 noon.
