Tanjore – Kumbakonam – Vaitheeswaran koil – Chidambaram 
After breakfast drive to proceed to Kumbakonam (45 kms/1.hrs) where you will visit kumbakeshwarar temple then drive for Vaitheeswaran Koil (75 kms/1.5 minutes) and visit Vaithyanatha Swamy Temple, Then drive to Chidambaram (25 kms/30 minutes) also called as Thillai, is known us NATARAJ TEMPLE. (Cosmic Dancer) which has the famous Nataraja temple with the root of the sanctum-sanctorum covered with golden plates is located in the centre of the town covering an area of 40 acres. Pondicherry – Mahabalipuram – Chennai 
After breakfast drive to Mamallapuram which is the town of temples, sand and sea - Mamallapuram, formerly known as Mahabalipuram is world renowned for its beautiful Shore Temple. It was once the main port and naval base of the great Pallava kingdom and was later made the capital of this Dynasty. The sculptures here are particularly interesting because it shows scenes of the day to day life.
